Moreton Bay Fishing Group - Moreton Bay and Offshore Attack Trip
The Moreton Bay Fishing Group took full advantage of some great weather and managed some nice catches in the bay and offshore.

What Happened
Trip Report
The weather gods this weekend were on our side for a change; conditions in the bay were fantastic and offshore conditions were ‘doable’. It was great to see so many out on their boats with family and friend enjoying all the bay has to offer, plus some nice catches as a bonus.
Offshore was best described as lumpy, but a couple of boats managed to get out wide over the weekend, with Pete managing both days and also collected a few crab on the return trips. Whilst Sunday’s offshore Attack BRAGS rating was Red, the conditions soon settled for a great day of fishing, whale watching and feeding our ever-so friendly sharks.
In the bay our members had trips to the Little Ship’s club, Moreton Island and the Tangalooma Wrecks, around the bay islands, some even down as far as Jumpin Pin and of course some even joined the overcrowded party happening a Harry’s.
With the sun shining and some glass-out conditions, where else would you want to be.
