Thanks to all those who came to the April MBFG monthly social meeting on Wednesday, another great turnout.

Whilst the fishing in March has been a bit on the quiet side due to weather a few of us did manage to sneak out. A big thanks to Derek for talking about the recent marlin trip on Luna; for those who missed it the trip report and video is HERE. The March Offshore Attack was cancelled however a couple of boats managed to brave the conditions for the Inshore Attack. Blue Pearl did an overnighter which produced a nice haul of sand crabs from the bay, and Hydrostatic managed a cracking long tail tuna, which was well deserved after all the crazy chasing around the bay. And a reminder to Jason and others to measure your catches for the annual competition – thanks to Conrad for the update who’s leading the various categories.

Despite the lack of boating this month we still managed an abundance of $5 screw-up fines. Thanks to those who told their stories and, as always, generated a great laugh and some cash in the coffers.
